Love this game. Great memories of Christmas day 1998 came flooding back to me when I played this. Happy days!

I think this has a good chance to get to 3m by the years end, especially with the extra 3ds's being sold due to nsmb2. People will be looking for a killer second or third title and this will be one of the games that gets a boost.

Sales were adjusted down since my last post, but it's still done very well for itself. 3.5-4 million lifetime is what I suspect. It may look like it will take a while, but if the 3DS has at least another 4 years in it, I can see it happening, especially if the 3DS ends up very popular again with a strong game released or a remodel.

I think this has to be the best performing of all the HD remakes because it's managed to make the most money in the shortest amount of time. Kudos to Nintendo and I think they should keep it up with a Mario 64 and Majora's Mask remake.
